Directing is a natural extension of how I create; the seamless coalescence of text, movement, truth and beauty in a respectful ensemble is what I aim for. I loved directing Sarah Ruhl’s whimsical Melancholy Play for Project Undertow, a collective I co-founded, directing the first incarnation of Leo for the Rhubarb! Festival and directing True for Aluna Theatre with Criminal Theatre, the company I co-founded with my creative partner in crime, Scott McCord. Upcoming I will be directing Marine Life for Tarragon Theatre, the first episode of my web series Look How Great I'm Doing, and co-directing the feature film True, based on my hit play of the same name.
